Great wrap up, Marcel! Thanks for including Wire in your comparison. Couple of things:

• There is now an independent security review of Wire protocol implementation.
• Protocol rating — Wire seems to hit all but “federation/decentralization” in the protocol rating now.
• Federation — We are not ruling this out. As we will open source the server by end of Q1, 2017 it actually becomes sort of a requirement for the future. Safe to say that we “devs refuse” is not true :)
