Wire will host talks and a panel discussion that covers the policy, legal, practical, technical and business aspects and impact of the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which takes effect on May 25th, 2018.
Four fantastic speakers will cover their respective areas:
- Jan Albrecht, chief negotiator for the GDPR, MEP
- Katharina Miller, co-founder of 3C Compliance, President of the European Women Lawyers Organization
- Alan Duric, co-founder and COO/CTO of Wire, telecommunications expert
- Phillip Fabinger, global privacy counsel at HERE Technologies
Freelance tech and policy journalist David Meyer (Fortune, ZDNet, Connected Rights) will moderate the event.
The aim of this event is to educate and share the stories of how different organizations have prepared for the GDPR and how they’ve turned it into an opportunity to their favor.
